I am just testing my water for the first time I am using a kit from aquarium pharmaceuticals inc. saltwater master liquid test kit. My question is; is there a kit out there that is more specific I am looking at the colors on the cards and looking at the colors in the test tubes and it leaves me to wonder if this test is accurate.

The liquid tests with the color cards can leave you wondering...
For the "basic four" Ammonia, NitrIte, NitrAte and pH, the "FasTest" kits with the "transparent" color "chip" or slide are economical and a bit easier to read...
Otherwise the "Salifert" kits are highly recomended, but a bit more costly...

I agree with Squidd; I use both the Fastest and Salifert and think they work much better than others
The nice thing about Fastest is that you don't have to measure or mix out chemicals, just dump in a packet, and the clear slides are easy to read

Salifert are the best for the $$$$$$. They are high upfront but they have up to 50 tests! PLus they are more accurate then fastest or Seachem , from when I am using them...
Example, Seatest always was way high.
