Test Kits

I need to buy marine and reef test kits and im not sure which ones to get. Any help or opinions would def be appreciated. Thanks!

You will pay a little more but everyone everywhere says Salifert brand is the best. I bought a good test kit and a cheap test kit, I do weekly test with the cheap one and if I see anything I dont like I whip out the good kit to find out for sure.

what do you think about the redsea ones that they sell here on the website?

I am not crazy about Red Sea test kits. Aquarium Pharmacetical test kits are okay cheap and fast test kits, but in the end, Salifert is the most accurate, for sure.
I would make sure you have pH, alkalinity/kH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and calcim (for when you go to a reef tank).
