Okay the 75 gal I have has about 30 lbs of live sand,40 lbs of live rock and NOTHING in it. Its been up for about 2 mnths. I am waiting till febuary to get every thing I need for it (income tax)
But my test result I thought where surpissing. Before I say that I'll tell you what I have running on it.
Ehiem Canister ( the green one.. )
Turbo twist Uv Sterilizer
3 HUGE power heads for circulation
And some micro algea just to lower Nitrates ( my rodi unti hasnt been hooked up yet)
Ammonia-0
Nitrates-0
Nitrites 20 ( grr this damn tap water)
Ph- 8.0
Tempature-76
Salt- 1.023
Is there any thing I should be testing for that I am not testing, besides calcium , that Ill be getting tommrow?
As for what Ill be adding.
Sump/refuguim
Protien Skimmer
Lighting ( any suggestions?)
Over flow box
Sand
Rock
Clean crew
Am I missing any thing other then fish and corals? If so let me know! Thanks!
