tetratec-pf500(fresh or saltwater?)

I was looking for a new filter for my 72 bowfront fish only tank. I was intrested in the tetratec pf500 so the question is: Is this filter a saltwater filter or fresh water one.

You can use it for freash and salt it works with either.
Its a nice looking filter!

I've been using power filters on saltwater tanks now for around 5 years. Like the post above stated they work great for both fresh and salt water.

I have a 300 on my 28 gallon. Had some problems with the impeller hanging up. After some techincal inhancements it now works fine. The heater setup works great.
My 2cents.
