Tetratech power filter with heater good?

Anyone having Tetratech power filter 300 and 500 with heater in the filter. How do you like them?
I am seriousily considering to purchase that filter for heat, handy for carbon accessible whenever emergencies araise, and surface circulation purpose as there is not enough room in EcoSystem Hang-On filter for heat to be put in.......
Before whether should I buy, any pro and con on that equipment?

I'm using the PF150 and 100 watt Heating Capsule in my Freshwater 20 Gallon. I am extremely happy with both the heater and filter. The heater is preset, so all you have to do is set the temperature and forget it. Also, the two outputs are adjustable allowing you to change the direction in which the water flows for each separate output.
One small complaint though... It is slightly noisy. Since the wet/dry function works on a siphoning principle, you get to hear a little bubbling every 1-2 seconds. However, the actual motor is completely silent.
I have a digital camera, so if you would like any pictures of any certain parts of the filter/heater, let me know.

Ive read somwhere that a person was told by a pet store worker that thier might be a problem with them and tetra was fixing them.cant remember where that was,ive used it i think that its a nice filter but that noise might be that plastic cup just to the right of that foam pad.maybe thats what tetra fixing?could be just a rumer though.
