Would you rather text or talk ?

I dislike talking on the phone cause I don't like holding it for long periods of time, so if I need to tell someone something I text them instead of giving them a call.

WOW...that depends on the situation.....if I need my hands, I like (or need) to talk on the phone..
If not, txting is okay....

my last bill showed
phone time - 25 minutes
text - 9000+
I am not exaggerating either. My sister has hit over 20,000 texts in one month. (picture enclosed of that)

I got a feeling texting is going to decrease by quite a bit once the laws start changing to prohibit texting while driving.
I don't text at all. If I want to send an e-mail I will do it from the computer.

If its just me asking my wife to pick something up on the way home or asking a buddy if we're hanging out I'll send a text. Anything more than that usually gets a phone call.

WOW!! I did some calculating and 20,000+ text's per month is the same thing as 1 text per min for 14 hours a day or a text every 2 min 24/7! 43,829 minutes are in 1 month.

Hahaha, she has a problem and wore threw her phone keypad in 5 months

Well, I dont know if im getting old (im only 29) but I think texting is a complete waste of time. If I get a text in the form of a question I call the person back. Now I see some of these kids that can text faster than they can talk so I guess thats cool, but my fingers are way too big for those little keypads

Never sent a text message in my life. Anyone who sends them to me gets ignored because I don't pay for texting so I get charged.
My phone is hooked into my corporate email system, does that count?

i hate talking on the phone, so i text a lot. however, i only text when its something vaugely important, or im really bored. cause it drives me crazy when i see kids standing around texting all day. like... live your life while you can, your best friends boy drama cant really be all that important.

another reason i text all of the time would be because my parents cant eavesdrop on me doing it

i text at work or when im out bowhunting... other then that much easier just to call unless its just a quick question and i dont want to get stuck on the phone talking to some one for a hour then texting is the way to go!
