I have been on the boards for a little while now and had no problems with any disease. A couple of days ago it looks like my royal gramma has ich. I have a 75 gallon reef and I didnt want to treat that so one night he was sleeping in a piece of live rock so I took the rock out slowly and was able to get him out in my qt with out to much stress. Well anywho I didnt know how I wanted to treat untill I read up on the boards I love this place it is just bursting at the seams with info. So I am now attempting my first hypo. Wish me luck

If that is a swing arm hydrometer, hypo will not work using that. You can get a good refractormeter online for $70--less the cost of your sick fish, I bet. But, if you can't afford that, then get a good glass hydrometer. Hypo will not work unless you are very precise.
