Thanks very much for the advice. I'm sorry for the lack of info. (my first time) I will be more descriptive in the future.
The tank is 78 deg. f. constantly. The filter system is the trickle type w/ "bioballs" and some aragonite for the base. The (tap) water was treated with crystal sea marine mix and aqua plus tap water conditioner and alowed to circulate for 36 hours. Sq. is 1.023, Ph is 8.0, and of course the amonia and nitrates are not there yet. The fish were introduced over the course of 45 min. by floating and slowly adding tank water at 5 min. intervals in the dark, the bag water was disgarded and fish left alone for the night. Fish were initally eating and active.
