Well I started collection zoas and now I can;t stop. Here is what I have so far with more coming, not sure of all the names except for kryptonite.

Those are sweet. If you ever want to frag them LMK. hehe.
Yes, expect to stay addicted and expect many sleepless nights on the net browsing the different sites that sell, descibe and talk about zoanthids.
Someday there may be help for us, but I don't see it anytime soon. Who knows? If a national healthcare ever becomes a reality, treatment for the zoa addiction may just be covered.

I too am addicted to zoas and spend too much time looking for them. I spend too much money on them too. I don't like to get a little thing of 1-3 polyps. I like to get something you can see without magnifying glasses! I also am addicted to ricordeas.
I also don't like to frag my coral. If I have a good friend I may give them some polyps to get them started but I'd rather keep the corals bigger.
Enjoy!

Sweet! I won't even say anything about being addicted to zoa's. I received a sweet shipment from CodyLowe today and I had already sworn that I won't buy any this week :(

Not what should I actually do with the frags. Do I keep them on the tile or do I want to attach them to a rock?

Jeanheckle is my wife. We started this hobby together. Trust me, when she says she's addicted, SHE'S ADDICTED! Now I know why I'm not allowed to spend any money on buying lunch out anymore. In fact, she's been seen standing on the street corner trying to score frags!

The greens still have a way to go before they run out of room and those wil climb down the sides of the tile and onto the rock it sits on so they can stay. The eagle eyes it might be best to either remove them and glue them to your rock or at least wedge the tile between rock so they can move on out. They will grow faster then the green ones. The eagle eyes should pop off easily. Remove them from the water, take a flat blade knife and without cutting yourself insert it below where you see the white superglue attatched to the tile and lift. They should pop right off. A couple polyps may have already attatched to the tile, but nothing you can do with them. If there are and they stay on the tile keep it somewhere down on the sandbed in some light and flow and they will regrow.
