The Age Old Question: When will they pair up, when did yours?

well today i just bought my 2nd fish, *another* tomato clown. i just let him in the tank and the new one swam right to the old one and his anemone (they were checking each other out during acclimation) and the old one isn't really aggresive, but he did chase the new one off from his anemone, and now the new one is in a corner, how long will it take for them to pair up if they even will? how long did it take your all's to pair up? is there anything i can do to help them pair up? mabey a picture of two happy clowns in an anemone posted on the tank?

well, thats like bringing home another woman to your wife in time she get use to it.(lol) just joking in a week they should be ok

well i am hoping it will take a lot less time than that, i believe they are gonna pair soon. the bigger orange is trying to get the smaller new one to go to his anemone i believe, he even does this head motion, like "hey! come over here!" lol:happyfish

My Maroon Female Clown who I had for long time, paired up with a little Gold Stripe Maroon Clown within 5 min. They seemed like they waiting to meet.

Ours paired up the night we brought the smaller one home from our LFS and have stayed together since.
