I just got finished cycling my 29g bow front reef and noticed algae. green and cyano. ive reade this will go away on its own. if this is true how long will this take? And yes, i know about cycling a tank, this is my 3rd cycling tank. i just forget things after a while

The cyano won't go away on its own...maybe you don't have enough water flow to that area, or too many phosphates

The brown and green algae won't just go away either, you are ready for a CUC when you have enough algae for the crabs and snails to live on. At least that is my understanding..it has been a while since I set up a new tank too.
