the back of my aquapod

I have a 12gallon aquapod and I have a queation. I have a red bubble alge problem and I was told that chaeto in one of the chambers would help. Here is what I do so far...
Chamber 1(in flow) I have the filter sponge
Chamber 2 I have the carbon.
Chamber 3 I have some LR.
Chamber 4 I have my pump for the out flow.
I thought mabye adding some chaeto to chamber 3 with the live rock would help. Is there anyone out there that can give me a few pointers on the 4 chambers?

i put some chaeto in my chamber 2, and carbon in chamber 3. I just peeled the black tape/film off the back, and shine a light through the back. I am not sure if the algea is getting enough light this way, but am waiting a few weeks to check it out, if it doesnt, i am going to have to find a way to get lighti nto that chamber.
