The best cleaner?

I need a cleaner critter for my 120. Despite have quarenteened my fish, I see a couple of spots of ick showing up. So I'm ordering a cleaner from swf.
I have a blood red fire shrimp in another tank, but I have never seen him clean any one and he has been in there for well over a month. I want a neon goby, but of course they are always out of stock.
Does the red striped cleaner shrimp do a better job the the fire shrimp?
Who's my best bet?

its not the way to treat for ICH.
the cleaner shrimp is a great help in keeping fish healthy.
but you need to treat the ICH first.
QT and Hypo is what most will tell you to do.
good luck.
what is the bio-load in the tank (what fish do you have)?
if you are over-stocked not much will help.:happyfish :happyfish

Hardly over stocked. There are only three small fish in the tank. A flame angel, a 1" maroon clown, and a 1 1/2" heniocus butterfly.

Its been my experience that peppermints/blood reds as well as scarlets will clean parasites...but I believe the scarlets are probably the best and most effective. They may help with very minor problems with ick...but if the infestation is major more drastic measures should be taken. I keep 5 peppermints...a pair of blood reds...and a pair of cleaners...I see the scarlets active all the time and seldom ever see any cleaning from the peppermints or blood reds.
