Has anyone heard of "B-Ionic" mineral suplement to support coralline growth in the tank? is it any good? the guy at the LFS said if u want coralline this is the stuff to get (i trust him because he has never let me down before). Any one heard of or used it? how good is it?

its fantastic. pricy on large systems but Corraline is something thats hard to STOP when your levels are good. The B-Ionic is a 2 part additive for maintianing Trace and Cal ect in your tank.
Corraline will come in time. after about a month or so BAM it will be everywhere if your waterchem is consistant and within spec, no matter what chems you use.

this is a mirical grower, never had better results. literally, you would put in one white rock, and one day it has one spot, one week later, its completley purple! you should get both bottles tho. good luck

its been a godsend for me, i was having major issues with calc and alk, and since it keeps other trace elements in check i love it

To those of you who use this stuff- About how often are you adding it to keep your calcium and alk. at the correct levels? Anyone have anything bad to say about it? Thanks in advance.

The dose and frequency of the B-Ionics will vary by the type of corals you have in your tank and their calcium requirements. Sometimes adding a fast growing Acro will require you to bump up the dose in order to maintain your levels.
The only complaint if there is one is that for some reason I always ran out of calcium before alkalinity even though I would add the same number of capfuls of each. Fortunately you can often find an LFS that will sell the calcium seperately.
Now I have a reactor which is much less maintenance on a day to day basis but I am still working on adjusting it to maintain my levels where I want them.

Just wondering how your tank is doing with the b-ionic. I just bought some and I am starting to use it today. I hop it works out good.

love this stuff!....Took a while of testing each and everyday to figure out what the ideal, daily dose was going to be. I used a daily log and documented everything, tested the Ca and dkh before and after dosing to see what happned, then I noticed paterns to the usage and finally came up with 60ml of each part per day on my 75g. I divided this into two doses of 30ml each so that there wasn't a wide swing in levels and they stayed more consistent. I've noticed incredible growth in my sps corals, eveything has a white tip. Now my water perams are pH 8.15 Ca 425 dKh 11......
