Water change, increase water flow to the area and never overfeed.
The slime removers in the LFS will work but be very careful...if you use it too often the slime becomes immune to it. It is always best to find out what created the problem in the first place and correct it. Otherwise it will just keep coming back worse and worse, stronger and stronger.

is it possible that i moved it from the 75 to 180, it has only been a week since the move, i tried to get it off the rock, but some had to have made the move.

if i use the red slime remove and just watch very close would that hurt.
this is looking to good to let the red slime take over help

Yes very possible and most likely came from the old tank!!
I used the aptly named Red Slime Remover and that worked for me. Just be VERY careful and do EXACTLY as the directions say. Then be ready for a bunch of big water changes because the skimmer will be useless until you get all the chemical out.

If you just upgraded to the 180, then you already added the new saltwater..so no need for the water change. Check to make sure there is good water flow all around the tank..do this:
Get a stick and attach a piece of ribbon to the end...move it around the tank to see if you have any dead spots without water flow and adjust your power heads accordingly.
be careful not to overfeed and the red slime should go away on it's own......remove the mat as best you can with a turkey baster...then keep a watch.
If you dose the tank with the remover it is very, very hard on inverts and coral. Everything will draw up and look like crap for weeks, and then you have to do a big water change anyway, and some cases, more sensitive corals may even die off. It is an absolute last..last resort, not the first line of defense.

+1 on the Red Slime Remover, as long as no more than needed is used.
