The Clown is Dead

i had a Tomato clown and it died dont know why he was doing fine then i woke up the next day and he was dead i checked the water and it was fine im lost
by the way all i had in the tank was a damsel and a crab and know a dead tomato(tomato not in the tank now in the sewer) :(

Mine had a hard time fitting in (same tankmates as you) He just seemed very unhappy for the first 3 days or so and didn't eat. Are you sure yours was eating? Mine thankfully has perked up and started eating.

it was eating fine thats whats so strange

Hey it happens sometimes with no good reason why. One thing you did not say is if it was a new fish for you or a older one you had for a while. There are times I buy a new fish that seems fine and in days it is gone. Once in a while it happens and if no one else seems in distress then I would just move on to something else if you want to replace the fish.
