Hi Ive been reading these forums for a few days and noticed alot of people recommended this book. I picked up a copy today and this book is great for someone like me who knows absolutely nothing.
My wife asked for a salt aquarium for x-mas but wants me to do everything - and it still counts as her gift :D
Only down side is we can not have any of the fish i like for one reason or another (working with 30 gallons here)
Anyways the book covers everything from setup to types of fish, so definitely good book for us newbs.

Both books are excellent. For your info I researched this hobby over a year before I bought anything or set anything up. Its why I think I have had success. My only death was a clown in my stupid powerhead but learned from that. Got maxi jets with gates. And I learned so much from this board. People like reef kip thomas just to name a few. Keep posting ask questions and research before you buy. The cheapest is not always the best. And patience nothing happens fast in this hobby. Welcome to the board
