The fastest clam in the West

The other day I bought some cleaner clams which don't usually move a whole lot but this one clam is on a mission. He's dug down in the sand and almost went the whole length of my tank in one day. The rest are just sitting there doing their thing. That's why that clam is the fastest moving clam in the west at least that I've ever seen.

My 2 cleaner clams dig in and stay there, I dig them up about once a month to see if they are still alive.
Am I doing it wrong ???

Well I dug my two clams up again yesterday, and within the hour they were under the sand again, at least it's not hard to find them, they never move...
Shouldn't they stay above ground longer?

I don't know! Mine bury themselves pretty quick also. SovietTaco's plate is making me hungry though! Now I've got a fish that will eat them or he's at least trying to.

I think your fish saw my picture too
. It's ironic saltwater fish and inverts are soooo cool yet most of us on here that keep these little guys also probably love eating them.
