This forum is alway dead. More people need to become memebers. And whats the deal with not being able to post links...haha...this is the only msg borad I know that does that. That should be changed so we can post our pics!

You can post links but not to a competitors site. So pictures can be posted. I agree the forums are slow, but not necesarrily dead. I try to post alot when I see something interesting, and if everyone else posted alot than the forum would move quicker.

Only links to other fish selling places are not allowed. You have to understand that the SF people spent a lot of money to give us this and they have a right not to want competitors given space here. Even I a very vocal free speech understand and accept that rule as reasonable.

This forum is in the middle (dead wise) I follow another forum (not fish related) that I'm on about 8 hr/day and it moves VERY fast. There are about 150-200 other members like me and up to 1000 who check weekly!
This forum is great but with search you don't NEED to post that much :( I try to give as much info as I can and raise important topics but I'm new to saltwater fish. I don't know that much and can only draw so many parallel from my 7 years of freshwater experience.

Oh..another thing. I wish (and I know it's possible with the UBB software) we could see how many views each thread gets. That way we could have an idea on how many unique people are reading the topics.

I check out a few differant sites and one site I posted a question [6 weeks ago] it was an easy question just to see what kind of response I would get, and they still have not responded. If you post on here It my take a few moments or longer to get a response but you get some kind of response wich is better than none at all, also I feel this site is more intresting and I like it here, I HAVE LEARNED A PLENTY, from reading other posts and posting them, my2cts. :D :D :D :D :D
