The Great Experiment Starts!!

Everyone wish me luck. I have purchased the glass, wood, etc. for my new aquarium building experiment. I have also built the stand frame at a friend's steel shop, and will enclose it in some nice plywood I found at Lowes. I hope to find some website space to document from start to finish, and hope all goes well and it will hold water.
What I have planned is a 75 gallon aquarium with the following.
DSB 4 " - have southdown sand in my garage
Sump
Refugium
Switch from my Prizm skimmer to the Berlin Method.
Tranfer my 55 gallon reef to this new aquarium and make the 55 into an aggressive set up.
Here it goes!

Let me know how it turns out!!!! I was thinking of building a 500gal in the basement of my house I will be building..... Dreaming......

I spent all day yesterday starting to cut and stain wood for the base and cabinet. I see now that this project is going to consume me. I just need the patients to make this be as good as I want it to be, and not rush.
I will find some time this weekend to find some web space and start posting pics.
By the way, for the cabinet stand, I chose Deep Red Mohogany. Looks great especially after just applying the 3rd coat of polyurethane.
Thanks for your interest.
Wamp, did you say 500 gallon. Man, that would be great. Im only doing a 70

Thanks for the offer Dave. I think I will take you up on that. I just want you to know that this will be lengthy ordeal. I work about 60 hrs a week and can only do this on my one day off. And that includes taking care of the lawn and home repairs. The only way I was able to purchase all the stuff needed for the aquarium, was to agree to put up privacy fencing around our yard.
You know the saying, "I run the house, whenever it's ok with the wife."
