In trying to find the best deal on IceCap ballasts I've narrowed it down to Champion Lighting and Hamilton Technology. Champion claims to beat the competitions prices however, when I called and told them that Hamilton carried the IceCap 660 ballast for $169. (cheaper than theirs) they claimed that Hamilton doesn't even carry IceCap ballast even though I was staring at them on the web site (not the first time someone called them about this price difference). I called Hamilton and they were very upset at what Champion had said and stated that they do indeed carry IceCap ballasts. I know Champion has been recommended on this sight several times before but, has anyone had any experience with Hamilton? The two companies seem to know each other pretty good and are going at each other's throats. What's your opinion on Champion's comments towards Hamilton?

Who cares what they think about each other. Which one will give you the better price,and warrenty. THATS REALLY ALL THAT MATTERS. STEVE

Thanks Salty for you comments but I really was trying to find out if anyone out there has dealt with Hamilton. Champion's claim was that Hamilton "substitues" a different ballast instead of delivering the IceCap.

If you ask them(hamilton) if they supply or ship icecap,and you don't get icecap.Then I would STOP PAYMENT. So you either get what you want at the lowest price,or you get it for free.STEVE
