After a 3 month battle with the unknown, I had to destroy my most prized fish. Thank you to all that responded to the anorexic Lion post to help me. It was the right thing to do. <img src="graemlins//dead.gif" border="0" alt="[dead]" />

If it was a disease, the ONLY symptom was not eating. Beth had said that this sometimes happens. I did everything I think I could have.

the last 3 day's it got worse. he lost 80% of his mass in the last 3 months. He was less than 1/8 thick in the body. He also lost most of his stripes from the tail to head in 30 hours. He had no strength/life in him.
