The Lions curse ends Monday!!!!

I actually never knew the specifics of a Lions curse before today. However here is the reported story... On October 6, 1958, the reigning world champion Lions traded their star quarterback Bobby Layne to Pittsburgh. In his disgust, Layne told reporters that the Lions wouldn't win a championship for fifty (50) years. The Lions went 4-7-1 that year and their new starting quarterback injured a hamstring. Well, 50 years will have gone by on Monday and we've won just 1 playoff game since then.
Curse over... Matt Millen is fired... lookout world, I think the Lions dynasty starts in 2009!!!

Forgot to mention... the quarterback who got injured in '58, was injured in his first game as a Lion. And he had never been injured before!!
It's all coming together for the Lions.

Sanders was the BOMB!!!! Think of how good he would have been if he actually had an offensive line!
I had never heard this story before, and I got nothing against the lions, so hopefully they break the curse for ya.

lmao! It's official! The lions are the WORST team in the NFL! No don't give me the rams...at least the rams got some talent on that team, Pace, Jackson, Holt. Every game has been a blow-out! ANd coach MORONelli will be gone!

First game after the curse and the Lions are winning.
Granted they are only up 3-2 (yep, that's the score) because their idiot quarterback stepped out of his own endzone on a 3rd and 10, and the rising star, Calvin Johnson dropped a 50 yard bomb on 3rd and 11... but this is only the 2nd lead they've had all year!!!
