I think today in class me and this guy who I've never talk to outside of class (only in class, during class) think we have figured the meaning of life
Disclaimer: This will not go over well with creationist or deeply religious people.
Time is a commend misunderstanding. Its not seconds, hours, days. Its how fast your moving through space. To make since on events and put events into order you must have time as we understand it. Now take that knowledge and forget about it as you read on.
The universe is moving, well expanding. Its theorized because way back when the universe's matter was the size of a golf ball it for some reason exploded: "The Big Bang" Now all matter in the space is moving away from the point. (Some believe that if we could find that spot, we would find a supreme being "god" or the creator, A mix between science and god) Now as the matter moved it turned into stars, planets, moons, dust etc. And the matter is still pushing away but at a slower and slower rate. Soon the matter will stop and retract back into the original sport creating another "universe ball" (I know not the best science term, I’m a Business major), so when time stops, that would mean life would stop because the universe is destroyed and is only a ball of matter. Once the matter begins to move again life can begin again.
Now the question the meaning of life. Life exist because it can, science with the right nudge, sparks life. IMO a supreme being didn’t go boom, let there be life, and IMO science cant do it alone. "god" has laws of physics to go by, if he could break the laws I don’t think we've have some of the problems we do today. He cant just make stuff, he has to give us enlightenment to create things for ourselves.
To continue, There is time (the speed of which a particular item is moving though space) There is life of all forms; we need time to control our lives. Without life there would be nothing to judge time, or in some since keep time under control. (black hole theories, worm holes, not getting into that today, maybe later) So my option of the meaning of Life, might not be as grand as what people expect it to be. But I feel that without life there could be no time, and without time there could be no life. So the meaning of life is:
Time and life must coincide for each to exist, without one the other would not be.
There is a lot more to explain this, but I’m tired of typing if anyone what’s me to keep explaining I will, I don’t want to start a heated agreement on this thread. We can also say the meaning of life is 36, if you want something simpler.
