The most expensive fish on the planet

I believe that a Bluefin Tuna sold for $175,000, although that was commercial.
I've seen more expensive fish, and, if I remember correctly, a $15,000+ coral.

Toro...fatty tuna...$75 for 2 pieces of sushi.

My Sushi chef tells me that in Japan whenever they catch 1...they raise a yellow flag with a black circle in the middle...and people will sometimes fly a helicopter on to the ship before it docks and offer lot's on money...$250k sometimes for a 30lbs'er
Samu might be expensive too...

$75 for two pieces of toro? where the heck do you get sushi? Toro comes from the underside belly of the tuna. There is toro in every tuna. I think that a 30 lbs tuna is rather small. I think that they are more like 40-50 lbs.
And stop it your gettin me hungry.

I am in the wrong profession.
Well, I guess $400,000-$1,000,000 per truck isn't bad either.

That's what they teach you at the non Japanese schools
the underside of the belly of the tuna is fatter...but not oily. It's still shades of red in color. These "Sushi Chefs" then sell it as Toro for under $50/2 pieces as a good deal.

True Toro is white /cream in color
