What is the one thing you would give up your tanks for.
Mine would be, another child. I would glady sell both my tanks to bring home another one.

What's with all the semi morbid what if questions lately?
I'd give up my tanks for anything I had to give them up for. Now if we are talking we get a free wish if we gave them up that would be another question (to me) I guess.

+1...I almost had to give mine up so I could have a sofa in the living room...but I managed to get my book shelves under the Plama TV, making space. The new place is just so small. Ya gotta do, what ya gotta do.
Still, it just wouldn't be home without a fish tank.

LOL...I was going to...but my dad died and my mother is my responsibility now. She wanted the sofa for people to sit on when they visit. She lost her house, her husband and I downsized from that big house she had...she even had to give up her big bedroom set. I figured I could let the tank go so she could have at least something she wanted.
I had a 2 inch clearance for the book cases under the TV...so I have the tank and a loveseat sofa...so we are both happy. I have thousands of dollars worth of books so the book cases were an absolute necessity.

Please decipher in 40 yr. old terms please
With the money I spent on my tanks I could have bought a Big Green Egg (google it -- they're awesome) and made 2 trips to Hawaii with the wife.. Guess my 32 yr. old terms are too new agey

Sorry, never heard of the "Big Green Egg". But, I don't need a new latest fad grill, nor a return trip to Hawaii, been there...done that...twice. Just meant what I said in the first post...

Hey...you’re a good mom, I am sure your kids will take care of you if it becomes a need. Circle of life and all of that. I was secretly crying over my tank...that’s why I measured and found a way to fit the books under the TV...I wanted the tank more than a sofa..Who needs visitors...
