Anyone reading this book?
Anyone already read it?
Thoughts?
This book is changing my life. I am only two weeks into it but, I am already taking great things from it that I've never been able to grasp going to Church.

Is it good, I'm looking for a new good? By the sound it must be pretty good. What is it about.
Read "bringing down the house" if you get a chance. True story about MIT students that took Vegas for millions, legally. They played their numbers right, and learned to card count like pros. I saw "card shark" above your avitar so I thought you might find it interesting. I'm just about done reading it.

My wife and I are reading this book now, and I agree with you Rye; there's quite a bit of material in there that neither my wife nor I had grasped in church.

It is an amazing book! It is everything I have heard in church over my last 26 years, but put into one book that is clearly written and it really drives it's point home. It is defintely life changing. Our Church is one of the purpose driven churches started by saddleback church in CA so our whole church is reading the book. Good to see others out there!

AWESOME BOOK!!
i've been going to saddleback church for the last 15 years and it's been amazing watching us grow in such size. as of right now we are the fastest growing church in history.
rick's a way cool guy. once of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet. there's 7 services every week and whenever he's sermoning you'll find him outside chatting with attenders after EVERY single service.
i read the book about 2 years ago and it's perfect IMO. goes along rick's teachings that he's been doing all along. so far he's sold like 8 million or so copies. he refuses to take any of it for his own profit. he puts it all right back into the church. he even took the last 20 years' worth of salary that he's made at the church and GAVE THAT BACK INTO THE CHURCH AS WELL.
if God could have any ideal public representative it would be guys like rick warren, greg laurie, doug fields, and tom holliday. NOT these liberal nuts who are trying to censor our society in the name of Christ.

I have this book on my "reading list" after being offered a free copy by someone who enjoyed it so much.
I've heard nothing but praise regarding this book.

Purity,
Are very far from Simi Valley? If not, you might just want to check out to see another awesome ministry at the Blessed Hope Chapel. Joe Schimmel is the senior pastor the guy who's made the christian documentaries on music, media, etc that I emailed you.
Actually. I should share this with everyone, check out:
goodfight dot org
It will literally change your views of music and the media industry regardless of whether or not you are christian. If anyone's interested in the video, I'd gladly pay for it and send it your way to view.

our school newspaper wrote an article on it. my parents are reading it in their bible study. as soon as there done im starting it. anyone seen the video to introduce the book? my parents said theres a video to help you understand the book before you start readign it...
