The Saga Continues!

Thought I'd start a new thread on my seahorses! The other on was quite long!
Anyway, my sick little girl seems to be doing well! As a matter of fact, she and one of the males were definitely doing a little dance today! Swimming around in circles and such. The male horse, was giving the typical male behavoir, "Look how big my pouch is".

It was very cool to see. Not sure anything came of it. Can't even tell if she has/had eggs. Does anyone have pics. of a female with eggs?
Also, I think there is an issue of aquarium height as they are, unfortunately, still in QT.
No choice on this, as(when I was treating my sick girl) the DT they are going in came down with ich!

Guess I can no longer say I've never had it!
Anyhow, I had to quickly set up another QT, tear the tank apart to remove the fish. Been doing hypo for about 3 weeks now and my Mandarin is the only one left!

Hoping I can put them in the DT after Easter! That will be about 7 weeks fallow DT! Might wait one more week for good measure.
In the meantime, the Peppermints and feeder shrimp think I set this tank up just for them and are very comfortable. Boy, are they in for a shock when I drop 4 Erectus in there!
Been dropping a little food in the DT from time to time to feed the shrimp and I am now going to increase this to get the bioload capacity back up before introducing the horses and Mandarin back in!
Does it seem like I am doing this right? Any recommendations appreciated!

sounds good. Glad your girl is better. Mandrins dont tend to get ick so you should be good there.
What fish did you have in there with the horses??

That's what I thought, too. But my Mandy was covered in white spots also. Don't know! I am very thankful that she eats mysis, but am still very concerned about having her in hypo!
I also, had a Catalina Goby and a Green Clown Goby. Lost them both!
Might get more later, but obviously not right now! Also, want to add a couple of Banghiaa Cardinals. (captive bred, of course)

Oh yeah, what about the little mating dance they did today? Do you think they could have been successful in a 10g?
Should I be setting up another tank, just in case?
I didn't see any transfer, but he def. had his pouch open and was flushing and displaying like crazy!!

Well, I don't think they did it yet. I can see he's at it again!! Wish the lights weren't out. I would try to get a video!!

That stinks about your DT. Your plan sounds good. GLad your horse is doing better. I am so jeaolus about the flirting. Mine do it so rarely I don't know if I'm ever going to get babies
I thought they had figured it out 2 weeks ago but he stopped growing and ended up just hold water. I'm guessing he thought he had eggs but missed them

Thanks Bender!
I'm sure your horses will figure it out sooner or later!
As for me, I would like to get my horses(and Mandarin) into the display and get rid of the QT/HT's for a while. I feel like all I do is water changes.

Thanks to this little dance today, I actually spent some time watching and enjoying my tanks today! Haven't done that it weeks!!
