The Story of a 14 gal Biocube...

Well, I finally got another tank after being out of the hobby for a couple years. It's 14 gallon biocube.
Equipment:
Tank
25 watt heater
Koralia 1 powerhead
Refractometer
Bag of Chemipure
Purigen
Rock (5 pounds live, and idk how much random base rock)
10 - 15 pounds (ish) of aragonite sand
1-24 watt PC
1-24 watt actinic PC
2 led moonlights
I set it up on 2/28/10
As of yesterday the stats are:
Ammonia - 0 - .1 (I couldn't really tell)
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 0
Ph - 8.2
Calcium - 365
Salinity - 1.026
Temp - 80
I can't tell if it's cycling well or not because I was gone for the week and just got back yesterday. I guess I'll just keep testing the water every few days and wait for a spike. I added a cube of frozen fish food to try and spike the ammonia. Also, my live rock was out of the water for almost two hours and dried up mostly before I got it home so I was hoping that die off from it would help as well. But idk...
Last night I saw a tinyyy snail crawling around on the sand. It was probably about a centimeter long.
I'm hoping to eventually have a few fish, a cleaner shrimp or two, some hermits and snails. As for corals, I want softies and LPS once the tank is a little older.
Tell me what you think!
