I am currently waiting for my new 120 Gallon tank to show up and I am contemplating using a 20 Gallon Algal Refugium Tank instead of a traditional Wet/Dry Sump.
I plan on stocking the refugium with Live Sand in a Jaubert configuration as well as many Macroalgaes and all natural occuring microalgaes I plan on adding a few other various filter feeders.
I will be augmenting this with a large Protein Skimmer with Ozone and a small canister filter to add in Carbon and/or other chemical filterants.
I don't have a questions as much as I am just looking for the experiences of others using a similiar setup.
