The vegetarian Trigger

I recently purchased a juvenile clown trigger. I try to feed him siversides, brine shrimp, and live food. But he refuses it every time. all he likes to eat is my yellow tangs romaine lettuce. do you think this is abnormal? tell me what you think

hey fishboy my trigger used to poke holes like a hole-puncher out of my tang's lettuce just to annoy him and assert his dominance over the tank. Um maybe this could explain it?... or maybe he didn't get enough veggie matter and his body's telling him he needs veggies to perhaps help his immune system with a disease that is invisible so far. just a thought not that's it's that much help.
