Yea dude, it has shrunk 3 times in size and is limp as hell. If you cannot notive the difference, then I am for you. Its goona die, and wen it does, please dont make a thread about it. I know you will, but Im just saying it anyway, cuz Im just letting you know why it died, so u dont hafta ask. POOR LIGHTING!! And not good filtration. A hang on is inadequate. Maybe pull that off with a 20 or below, but not a 40.

Are those regular bulbs along with that actinic flourescent?

Yer right, it is a blue damsel. Cromis dont have that damsel face. You got ripped off by lisa man.
Cromis tend to have larger eyes, forked tails, more noticeable scales, and they dont have that angular look on the front of their face.

I gotta admit, the rocks do look ready for a mighty fall. I know you said that won't happen, hopefully you'll shore it up with those white rocks you said you're getting.
As far as the damsel goes, which it is, take it back. You don't want a damsel in that tank. As that damsel gets bigger and more aggressive, it'll be mean as hell.

Id just like to say that my own yellow tail is very well behaved. Doesnt piss anyone off, probably becuz Nick might eat him and he is scared to piss him off, but thats besides the point. My damsel is bright, and he doesnt annoy anyone, so I like him. LOL, if anyone wants a nice damsel soon, he just might be for sale:D

lion, glad to hear about your QT. Its a fun and exciting hobby isn't it? However, even though some here are being rather sarcastic the truth is that the anemone must find a new home under MHs. Which you don't have. Please don't let the animal die out of stuborness. Theses animals must have very intesnse lighting to even survive.
The rocks are nice. I think I would pile them up more and try to work with them as if you were actually looking at rocks in the ocean.
Also, do you have a pvc or fake corals in your QT?
Now we won't go into my first marine tank............:scared:

i think that some that posted comments on here were a little rude to lionfish ... my parents always said if you cant be nice dont say anything....
lionfish your off to a good start...i have tried to keep an anemone like the one you have in my tank b4 and it did die i have learned that rock anemones are much hardier and grow with good light but do not need as much as pink tips. as for rock work i think it looks okay it is hard to aquascape smaller tanks. good luck and please post more pics when it gets a little "aged".
