There's sand on my live rock.

I'm having trouble with the powerhead blowing sand from the bottem of my tank, and it is floating to the top and on top of my LR. My question is, is the sand that is on top of my rock, bad for it or does it matter, and also what can i do to stop the sand from blowing everywhere, i have a jbj nanocube:notsure: :help: Should i get a new powerhead? Someone recommened a Rio 500

can you change to position of flow? Try moving it up a little.

sand on the LR wont hurt anything...chances are with time it will move back down...you can use a turkey baster to get it off the rock if it is a problem for you

Or just occasionally position your powerhead toward your rocks and blow em off!!!!

This won't harm your LR, but if you get corals it could. I would suggest moving it up or repositioning it like mentioned. Could you do without one in your nano? Letting the filters do the work instead? What do you have now?
