thermometer has water in it.

one of those tube ones with the weight at the end. still tells the right temperature & everything, im just concerned that if water can get in, is there anything in it thats harmful that could be leaking out? should i stop using it? i have another one, but i have to dig it out.

Usually the weight in the bottom is lead (i think), Im guessing that cant be good, id pitch it and get a different one.

I would stop using it - to be on the safe side. Only a few dollars - not worth potentially destroying the whole tank.
