These are taking over my tank!!! Please ID

The Guy at the LFS said they were a form of snail that doesnt move just excretes a moucus net to feed. Any way are they harmless, do I need to get rid of them before they irritate my other coral? Is there anything that feeds on these?

By-the-way, I was amazed how clear the pictures showed up... they were taken from an Iphone. I cant get my $500 camera to get images like this.LOL

they are vermited snails. generally harmless, but they can get annoying. if you dont like them just crush them when you find them.
