Thinking about a nano for my office

If money was no object, what setup would you purchase and why?
I'm thinking of setting one up for my office and put all of the nice zoa's and paly's in there instead of having them in the bigger tanks.
Suggestions?

I like my 28g JBJ nanocube with HQI. I would go for the option with a lid if it's not a home office. If you are the one who cleans your office it wouldn't matter. But if other peeps can get in there after hours, it's best to have a lid. Sometimes they like to clean air ducts in your office without warning on off hours when you have an open lid setup. Ask me how I know. Grrrrr!

Big enough so that I can have a pair of clowns in there and a good amount of rare zoa's and paly's. 28 could be a good size. As long as it's still considered a nano, I'm game.

Well if money is not an option, you can really load a 28g jbj with as many zoas and palyps as you wan't with them metal halides :)

For my 'work' office (cubicle), I'd like a nice tank to act as a barrier at the front of my cubicle.
I already have a 12g Nanocube DX on my desk in my home office. Probably could have fit a 24g in the same, but 12g is nice and compact.

If money is no object, then get a 28 gallon nano cube with a 150 watt HQI MH, you can also add 2 small PC actinics if you want so the zoas can glow/pop when the MH go out. You can also probably add sps and clams if ya want.

Cool ideas. So if I go with a 28 gallon w/MH on it, is there a specific brand that is better than the others? I'd like something that is a complete package. As you can see, I know nothing about nano's

If youre looking at 28g, I'd go with the JBJ. It comes with MH right out of the box. The biocube would require a retrofit. Also, nano has hood props whereas the biocube does not.

As long as you have enough room and the MHs wont disturb anyone, go for the JBJ with 150 watt HQI. Youll be able to keep a whole lot in there and enough room for the clowns and something else.

I don't have to worry about the room and disturbing anybody else. This is for my home office which is upstairs.
What's the difference between JBJ's and Red Sea Max nano's?

I would say just make your own setup. I have found it to usually be a little cheaper, and you can put more quality into it (sump, fuge skimmer etc)

I really like the look of a completed set with the lid and all. We've got 2 custom systems running right now so I honestly can't handle another custom build hehehe.
Having a 75, 150, and a 20g QT SW tanks and a 44g FW tank running right now. Maybe I should just be happy with them and not attempt another one.
Nawww... my office could use one more :)

I'm getting a 29g breeder w/stand for $65 <faint>
This is what the tank looked like when it was up and running

The RSM is only 8 months old and the seller is from our reef club too and I'm getting a great deal on it. I've seen it up and running and it's sweet.
