Thinking about a Nano Tank

I am very much hooked on the salt water tank hobby and will be attending college for around 8 years after i finish this last year of high school, problem is I can't take my fish tank to college with me, they only allow small sized aquariums, so I figured, hey...why not try a nano tank? They look awesome and will keep me busy when im not studying and calm when i am :yes: But im not for sure, i just want some feedback...
I'm thinking probably a 12 gal. What brand do you reccomend and what are the average prices?
I know they're a lot more work to keep established, so what are your usual upkeep routines, (daily, weekly, monthly)?
Any other suggestions, comments, and the whatnot?

Hi im also in high school I love my saltwater also! A great tank that I have just bought is the nano cube it has a 3stage built-in filtration with compact lighting for corals and such. its really a nice tank you might want to check into it im not sure who makes it but I can find out. I work in a pet store so im lucky to get this cool stuff like the nano cube so any more ? write back and good luck at collage!

The above mentioned site has specs and information on the 12 g. tank. Hope this helps.

Hello. I am not sure if the price is low, mid range or high on something like this. The ---- auction i am referring to has a buy it now price of $89.97 with a shipping sharge of $33.00 for a total of $122.97
They have some larger size outfits for more money but only the 12g. in nano tanks.

Hi just thought I'd let you know that jbjlighting has come out with a new nano 12 with fans built in. drfostersmith.com has them for 119.99. The regular nano is about 99.99. They have a new nano 12 with fans and an upgraded filter and 2 24 watt lights coming out end of this month/first of next for $159.99. They also have a 24 gal coming out first part of nov for around $250. It will have the same set up as the deluxe but will have 2 36 watt lights. I plan on waiting for the 24 gal.
