Thinking of buying LR from here...do they pack heat packs?

I am not sure, but since live rock is shipped second day I don't know how well heat packs would work anyway. The live rock will need to be cured anyway once it gets to you as there will be some die off in shipping. I am very happy with the rock that I got from this site back in september. I doubt that you will be disappointed if you order.

I agree with cmaxwell. I just ordered about 75 lbs from here and it came early early on the 2nd day, was in great shape, surrounded by wet newspaper. One of the packages was in a 'live fish' box so it was insulated with styrofoam as well. I live in Chicago so it's cold here all the time too.

I ordered the 50 pounds of prem fiji 2 weeks ago. It got here second day fedex the guy ccarried it inn for me. It was inn a live fish box inside was the huge plastic thicck bag ( no leaking) inside that wass my mediumm to small rock. I took it to the fish store they checked it out and could not belive it had almost no die off on it and said toss it in your tank. I did and two weeks later its beautiful some cool stuff growing on it m snails are having a ball. It was also packedd with wet newspaper nothing was dry was worth it. You will also probably not find better quality as I ordered it and customer service notified me it would be two weeks as they were curing more ( they had sold out when I ordered ) They now have plenty in and ready to go I am sure.
