This is a sebae, right?

Thomas712 this is that sebae I told you about a long time ago & the guy at this lfs says this is a brown carpet I say its a sebae, I wanted them to get me one but I think Ill end up with the wrong anemone, I have a sebae & it looks just like this one. This one is at least 12" across when fully inflated, its not fully inflated in this picture, its been in this tank from befor X-mass & under the stock hood with 2x 25watt builbs. It used to be in the sand but it moved up for more light. I tried to tell them it needs more light & even offered to buy it but they wont sell it? Sooner or later its goning to die under those lights but its still real healthy looking.



So its a sebea right? Buy the way that is a yellow tang in there!

I cant understand why they think its a brown carpet anemone????? The guy that says it a brown carpet has worked there for 7 years in the fish dept , it goes to show you that you cant trust all lfs.

This isn't a brown carpet, but it is a saddleback also known as Haddoni. The anemone there in the pics that you have are the sebea.

Thanks for the picture rkmcinvale. Maybe I should print it off & show it to the guy at the lfs
I wonder what he would say :notsure: I dont think he would like it!

He might not, this pic was taken about two months ago, the saddleback has now grown since that pic, he takes up that whole space now.

In teh second picture it almost looked like a ritteri...but is clearly a sebae in the third.....
