y would you say destroy it? is there something wrong with it that will harm my fish or is it just not that appealing to a tank. cuz i think it looks cool. i just have a fowlr and it will probly always stay that way

Like to see a better pic head on so we could see the mouth and the way the tentacles radiate from the center. Also what color is the foot?
Could be from that pic a heteractis aurora, beaded anemone. Do some google searching for more pics and information. You may be able to identify it yourself that way. Let us know what you find out.

yes i would buy a pepermint shrimp to eat it or inject lemon juice into it with a syring, if you dont get rid of it it will spread all over

ok well i know that it has stingers. cuz it just killed one of my clowns. so how would i go about putting the lemon juice on it. can i do it while its in the tank or do i have to unburry it from my LR to pull it out of the tank. cuz that would take a while to do that. thanks this is all good info

i'd look at something else as the cause of your clowns death. they are designed to live with the stinging abilities of anenomes, unless they are very weak from something else. if clowns can live in carpet anenomes, this little thing shouldn't have been abel to kill a healthy clown.

How long has the rock been in water? In all tanks.....if it's been in the water for some time one would believe that it atleast won't spawn like mad. I would just leave it unless it becomes a serious problem (for your fish or if it just starts to spread then get rid of it) There is nothing more fasinating about unknown things than to learn about it...not just kill it as soon as you see it and only assume it's bad. It could end up being very uniqe.

it has been on the rock for some time so im not real concerned bout it that much but i know that the clown was sitting in it earlyer today and then when i came back it was dead about 3 in away. so idk if it was that or not but i just figured it could be that. i will leave it until it becomes a problem- hopfully it wont but we will see as time passes i guess. i would like to know though how to put the lemon juice on still just in case.
