So... a co-worker of my girlfriends has a tank they want to get rid of... a 55 gallon with stand.. 60 lbs of liverock... 2 mexican turbos... 1 valentini puffer and 1 pajama cardinal.... air pump.. various acclimation tubes.. nets.. and some various kent products...
so heres the deal they are moving and they want to get rid of it.. so i picked it all up tonight.. i took the puffer and cardinal to my lfs and got a credit because i cant get the tank set up quick enough but....
heres the catche... it was FREE!
so awesome im only 3 months in on this hobby and i already have another tank.. i dont know where to start... i need a new filter.. powerhead and hood...
any opinoins are great on my hood.. i want to sustain anenome life.. im just so excited of the possibilitys now not being limited to a 20 gal tank!

i had something simular happen to me with my brothers tank. its awsome aint it. any idea what to get and did you keep the water?

no i didnt keep the water.. it was horribly algefied haha... i did keep all the rock in seperate bins and i have an airpump on each one of them.. other than that i dont know what to do with it...... anyone have any ideas?

It wouldnt be a bad idea to put a power head in each of the bins to keep the water moving around the rocks. Congratulations on the new tank! Must be nice.
