and the crate is so that the fish wont jump out but it still gets good gas exchange

that seems good. mine just LOVES the heat so he will try to get a close to the lamps as he can. and he loves being able to run. so I try to keep it kinda open. and what do you feed yours?i feed 18 crickets a week and a mouse every few weeks and some peas every now and then

i feed mine crickets every once and a while(cuz they are like bigmacs for them..not good for em), the pheonix worms with lettuce mix, and i might try a rat ive never feed him one yet...

lettuce worm mix he LOVES IT get hte mixture of like carrots, lettuce, all that good stuff, but odnt get the mix with tomatoes they dont like that..
