19-Year-Old Arrested, Pleads Guilty To Disorderly Conduct

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. -- A couple arguing about which gang their 4-year-old toddler should join caused a public disturbance that resulted in the father's arrest, Commerce City police said Thursday, reported KMGH-TV in Denver.
On Saturday, Joseph Manzanares stormed into a video rental store where his girlfriend worked, threatened to kill her and knocked over several video displays and even a computer, Commerce City police Sgt. Joe Sandoval said.
After he ran out of the store, police were called and the 19-year-old was arrested at his home.
His girlfriend told police that they had been arguing about the upbringing of their son and which gang he should belong to. The teen mother, who is black, told authorities she is a member of the Crips, police said. Manzanares is Hispanic and belongs to the Westside Ballers gang, the woman told police.
"They have different ideas on how the baby should be raised. Basically, she said they cannot agree on which gang the baby would 'claim,'" Sandoval said.
Manzanares was charged with disorderly conduct, harassment, and domestic violence. He was transported to the Adams County Detention Facility.
On Tuesday, he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 12 months of probation and ordered to pay $835 in court costs, according to the Denver Post. The misdemeanor harassment charge was dropped.

Since I don't advocate killing of any kind, I'd say these are candidates for the "island of survival". Basically, all stupid people, violent felons, and scandalous politicians get sent to an island where they have to make their own way. They just get a toothbrush, a change of clothes, and an apple, and from there, they just have to survive... I think there was a movie like this, but I forget...

I say obviously the kid should have been in the Crips. Not sure what the issue is, personally.

No Ophi. If the child is a son then it is only right that he follow in his fathers footstes. I think the Ballers woulda been the right decision.
Sons always grow up to be like dad...not mom.

No way, Mom's gunna end up raising that kid. Crips man. Those are the "real men" that will be raising that kid.

Oh man as a resident of the denver metro area I hahave to chime in here . Commerce city is the big smelly B hole of the state . If there is a more ignorant place in the state I have not witnessed it . Its a very industrial area and low income to boot . In the 50-60 there was a lot of work there due to the rocky mountain arsenal being located Across the street . There is also a large connoco refinery there as well as Con agra storage facility for grain so keep that in mind when doing your grocerie shoping . They are trying to change the image but progress is slow and with idiots like this you can see why . There is a very bad problem with drugs/violence as is common with any low income area the place is really just a toilet . In addition to the Crips and the westside, there are also the north side mafia (mexican gang, And I mean right from mexico) plus the sons of silence and the bandito's moter cycle "clubs" also roam the town too .

CPS needs to take the child.
