I can't keep these fish!!
Everything starts fine and then turns bad. The most noticable problem is after time (approx 3-4 weeks) they begin to get ragged fins then cloudy eyes, until they die. I have a 20 gal isolation tank with a fluval 2plus filter. 10% weekly water changes are the norm. I have tried treating with Maracyn II and Pipzine because I was told it could be internal parasites, to no avail. I have lost a Hybrid ( C. flavissima X C. vroliki ) and Melas Angel to the same symptoms. I love these fish and am on the list for a "True" Hawaiian Flame Angel that I don't want to end the same way. I feed them a variety of meaty foods along with frozen and flake algea. Water testing is Salifert. Any info would be a VERY big help.
