Thoughts and info on electric scallop

They have pretty poor survival rates in captivity, and they have a way of getting behind your live rock so you rarely see them.

i dont recomend it they go behind your live rock and all they do is dirty the sand bed alot when they spit out their junk

i never feed mine and it would poop 24/7 but mine didnt hide in the back he stayed right under my anemone

Take lots of pictures in the first 3-6 months, you won't be able to after that unless you buy a new one.

ok im gonna give it a try i work at a pet store so i can get them a lil cheaper that way :) but on the hard to keep note i have a red carnation ive had for over a year successfully so im hoping to do the same crosses fingers ....

I had one for over a year, and never even knew I had it!
I saw him once right before I gave it away!
He was a hitch-hiker, and I didn't add any new rock for at least a year!
Never spot fed, never added DT's or phyto.
His tenticles were long flowing and pretty and I didn't do anything with him.
