thoughts to kill the dead (a DIY custom waterflow idea)

Ok as I sat watching my tank contemplating my laid off-ness and hating the world
I noticed a few dead spots in my tank. So I get to thinking......
How can I solve this problem with little to no money ,yes I would love a few more powerheads or Koralia 600's but that is not an option.
So tell me what you think of this novel idea my brain spit out. I have not done it yet just a brainstorm atm. but what if I take my 1/2 in return hose connect it to a 1/2in piece of PVC and drill holes of various sizes and in various directions (except the part nearest the glass and place it vertically in my tank this would play on the two powerheads that are already there return the water and create a flow. This is just a thought but would love the communities thoughts and suggestions.
Oh yeah just to give an idea my tank is 120g 72x24x18 (W x H x D I am never sure if I put them in the correct order) and I have the most trouble with flow in the dead center

I actually use a similar system with my return pump, I have a 3/4" spray bar that sits horizontal just below the surface of the water and I drilled holes along the length and I orientated the holes to point to the areas that I needed additional flow which was mostly down the backside of my tank behind my live rock. You could drill them in any direction though so you had some that pointed down into your dead zones and other that pointed across the tank.
1/2" return hose seems very small for a return pump, what size is it?

If you can spare $20 i have a Koralia #3 i would sell you.
I could spare that and I see you are not too far from me :) BTW I saw your 125 build and I am interested in the noise level from your coast to coast that looks interesting.

It may be bigger I am eyeballing and guessing and the hose may be larger as it is reduced down into the return nozzle

The noise level is "0" its very quiet.I made baffles out of clear tube and it made all the difference in the world.
My wife just left for PF ,her parents live on Nanti St. I will PM you my phone # for the Koralia.
