Thread Guide to Zoanthids

I love zoanthids for their amazing colors and the ease of care. I am not an expert on them and only have 4 types myself but I wanted to start this thread to name all the types of zoanthids you can think of. At the end of the day I will edit this file and include a list of all your names. This will help in that people who don't know a certain morph or color of zoo can read up on it and maybe even make a nice home for the new zoo.

Feel free to post pics of you zoanthids and name. This will only make the guide better! Thank you to everyone so far. It has only been a couple hours and its looking good!

Thanks man and why your here, you have a finnex 30g setup. I was wondering where do you buy your replacement bulbs/filters n stuff? If its at your lfs disregard

Flricordia, very nice pics. I think you may actually have Kryptonites there instead of mean greens. The tell is the green tip on the skirt. I think the mean greens maintain the same color on the skirt.

Flricordia, those that you named bam bam oranges are indeed Dragon eyes. Bam Bam oranges skirts are orange.

They are usually the size of a dime or smaller. I did see some that were huge, the size of a quarter... very rare

Are you sure those weren't some sort of paly? I think my head would explode if I saw bam-bams the size of a quarter.

I saw bambam type palythoa the size of a quarter at a LFS DT. Im still trying to figure out how to get a frag.
