Time for an OT forum...don't ya think?

Ok, I have to admit I LOVE reading the off topic conversations in here...most of us do. But, they are becoming more and more of "the norm" in the "business" forums and I totally believe we need the Aquarium back or an off topic forum. I think it's fine to post our jokes and polls, but there is a place for that. Will the sharks ever bring back a forum just for this stuff?
I see sharks posting jokes now...it is great, but it is clogging up the forums which are for fish questions and business.
I've asked before, but I'm asking again--probably for a lot of other people too. How did we get a forum completely for trading/selling right off the bat, but a forum that has been asked for again and again just keeps getting put into file #13?

They use to have one. I don't know why they got rid of it, but I think they should bring it back.
But you know how it goes. They think its better to give people what they want them to have, rather than what they want.

If it was a decision for me to make I'd say return the aquarium. However thats totally out of my hands. I agree that there is progressively more and more OT stuff here. Not a major problem...for the most part I ignore them.Still it does seem to take up time and space....who knows maybe the powers that be will reconsider...by the way goldfish I'm glad to see you made it back from bannishment....*_^

I agree, i got sucked into posting about evolution. A debate I thought I'd finally heard the end of in bio 110. It isn't me who was banished...there is someone else on here who has a name close to mine. He goes by "golfish" and I am Goldfish. We often get confused. I was here first though..
I'm glad to see so many people in agreement on this OT forum. I enjoy reading the polls and jokes, but it really does get in the way of others who are on here for help and questions.

ot forum? mos def!! i've posted about this myself in the past. i tried out the "fishing" bb, and like the idea, yet i didn't see much to talk about being that everyone on the board is from all over the place. i bass fish regularly, as well as surf fish in grand isle, la pretty often, and still couldn't find stuff to talk about. my point i guess is that if they have a totally separate board for this, why can't they have an off topic forum? makes sense to me, so....i'm all for it!
