Time frame?

I was just wondering how long I should wait before I can start adding corals? Most of the corals I really like are soft.
I'm starting to become more patient as I get older, so I think I can manage this.

I need more info. Size tank? Live rock? Live sand? Longevity of the tank? Any fish in there yet?
I have done reeftanks where as soon as my tank is cicled, I've put softies in it. However, it is best if you wait at least 6 months. And it truly depends on your set up.
Good luck!

if your levels are stable and your done cycling there is no reason you can't start to add them. Obviously the longer the better (more time to build benficial bacteria), but the levels are what you need to be concerned about.
Softies are pretty easy to keep and are a great thing to start with. Also, when it comes to softies they grow quickly so you can often get frags for very cheap ($5) or free because people cut them just to control the growth. So please dont pay $30+ at a LFS for some xenia!

hey guys,
The tank is a 92 gallon, it's been up for about two months now. None of the sand was live when I bought it although my LFS gave me a few pounds to seed the tank. Only 60 of the 150 pounds of rock was live. The only inhabitants in the tank are the cleaner crew.
