Currently i have a simple timer for my lights from lowes. I recently purchased some moon lights and wanted those on 24 hours but my tang wont sleep with these on.
Anyone suggest a good dual timer?
also with powerheads. How many are recommended (90g tank with mag 9 pump). And should they be timed as well?

You dont really need to time powerheads unless you want to plug them into a wave maker. For your 90 gal tank 2-3 Hydor Koralia 3s should be good or if you have the money, a Vortech MP40W would be sufficient.

I am guessing that you want a timer that will turn off your regular lights and turn on your moon lights at the same time, then turn off the moon lights later on. If this is the case then you can do the same thing with 2 seperate timers. I bought a 2 pack of simple timers from Big Lots for $5 and have them synced where the difference is between the two are only a little over a minute. You could do the same thing and put the moon lights to come on before the regular lights go off.
One other thing, there is a company who makes a dual timer, I am thinking it's Coralife, with multi outlets and the whole nine yards. It looks like a really nice unit and I almost bought one, but after reading several reviews from people who have bought them it seems like they are junk. I read quite a few that stated their's died in 6 months or less. So if you come across a dual timer make sure you do some research on them before you buy one.
